The guys over at WLFY are having a vote, if I’ve got my timezones correct, round 1 ends Thursday 0559 GMT. I coughed up the form to make voting easier, it’s just a shame these guys didn’t make the cut, maybe next year? hint, hint…

As well as the all encompassing main feed, there are now individual feeds for each category & country (possibly overkill) which can only be located under Categories & Countries on the goods page.
Along with the new feeds I’ve done a little category (tag) tidying, which as well as being listed “in” each post are now alphabetised on the goods page.
This is the 1st ever MP3less post, I’ll try to keep them to a minimum!

It goes! NearlyFreeSpeech.NET’s building owner (Mr. Dipshit) scheduled a “power maintenance” in the early hours of Sunday morning and neglected to tell them about it… After many hours, countless dead drives and a “very anger verb” they’re back online.
NFSN will remain my host for many years to come, unlike another; anyone willing to work tirelessly around the clock after some switch cowboy knocks them offline to ensure my dumb 0s & 1s can be read by 3 people—on a fucking Sunday no less—is legendary.
So, if you’re looking for next to nothing web hosting for a small site that offers quality of service and an impressive uptime, try NFSN… They don’t have a referrals, I don’t make a penny from them, It’s just a great—zero bullshit—service.
These are for the guy who flicked the on/off switch to no!
× DJ Krush - Kill Switch (feat Aesop Rock)
× Kyuss - Son of a Bitch
× Eagles of Death Metal - Wastin' My Time
× Death from Above 1979 - Losing Friends
× Elbow - Switching Off
× Immaculate Machine - On/Off
× Soundgarden - Switch Opens
P.S. Oh Penny Record #2 is expected some time this week, and all the files above are temporary.

The following 3 lines reveal a shocking trend in Lambprey’s browser usage over the past 4 months…

Top right; IE surpasses Firefox as your browser of choice.
‘‘ IE6 is 2.5x more popular than IE7.
So, who are you IE6 people and what poor excuses do you have for using an archaic, broke-ass application on my site?
Fuck it, I don’t want to hear them. Let’s move you on to a more modern, newfangled browser. Below I’ve poorly summarised 4 popular browsers with my digital pencil.

Firefox (the Pirate) is many a geeks preferred site sucker, it’s a fine choice, and my recommendation, go get it now you philistine!
Safari (the Cyclops) is here on merit, still at beta stage for Windows so I don’t recommend you—the stubborn IE6er—switch to it, even though it demolishes IE6.
Opera (the Ninja) the rarest of the 4—it hides in the shadows waiting to strike with precision, skill and elegance…
What? you don’t want to switch brand? Fine! But the very least you can do is upgrade your current browser; if not for me (provider of free songs) do it for yourself, when was the last time you treated yourself to something shiny and new anyway?
Internet Explorer 7 (the Robot) it’s 1 better than Internet Explorer 6.
‘‘ Only terrorists & paedophiles use IE6.
On a more serious note (even more serious than terrorism) not only is IE6 insecure, it makes sites look ugly and causes arthritis among developers; plus all the above are free, so what are you waiting for?
Oh, you want some tunage? very well…
+ Stay Ali - Beter the Explorer
+ Stay Ali - Strangle
+ Stay Ali - Tyska Obligationer
+ Stay Ali - Ideophobia

I’ll be coming back to this in 4 or 5 months, and if IE6ers haven’t fallen by the wayside, they’ll be permanently banned from here.

Second colour scheme has arrived!—and is now the default—it’s cleaner than Refrigerator Dust and also less stressful on the peepers; if you’ve just clicked and everything went grey, light it back up. Both colour schemes are fixtures in the footer.
Below are 3 tracks; a favourite from last year by 7 Hertz and 2 from new netlabel releases from Samorost and Jambassa.
+ Samorost - That Fluid Song of the Ocean
+ 7 Hertz - Seasick Suite
+ Jambassa - Playing with the Bottles
download samorost - entropy (free)
buy 7 hertz - tendor almost vulgar (worth every penny)
download jambassa - the roots and the flowers (free)
